    BAKELITE ARMY - mp3
Reliving the groovy early days of the Chicago B3 bars in cheap suits and skinny ties, played by guys who have been in comas since 1965, went to Guitar Center and bought sheet music without ever having heard the songs.

  • THE ALL-GIRL BOYS CHOIR

    Aug 14, 2010 8:00 PM

    THE ALL-GIRL BOYS CHOIR - mp3
Although only two people make up The All-Girl Boys Choir, the sound is a thick Rock / Blues / Classic Country hybrid, that showcases the multi-instrumental talents of Alicia Warrington and Marlene “The Hammer” Hammerle. Warrington, a touring drummer, worked with artists such as: Kelly Osbourne, Lillix and Uh Huh Her,before joining Hammerle’s Gore Gore Girls, for their 2008 European tour. The instant chemistry that the two had together, both on stage and off, sparked an immediate collaboration. While keeping their feet planted in Rock, the ladies also looked to artists like John Lee Hooker, Ike and Tina Turner and Ry Cooder for inspiration while recording their debut E.P. "Walking Miracles".

Event Information

Everyone is welcome to the events at the Serbian Cultural and Arts Center St. Sava!

Because parking is limited to 25 cars at the Center, we recommend three things:

  1. Use the El: the nearest Red and Brown Line stops are located at Belmont Avenue
  2. Use the local bus routes. Routes 22, 36, 76, 77, 146, and 151 all stop in close proximity to the Center
  3. Park at a nearby parking garage: several garages are located near the center; the closest (and most recommended) is Interial Parking at 3115 N. Broadway Ave.
