Mrs. Minister

On March 29th, 2008 at 8:00 PM

Cast of 'Mrs. Minister'

Life suddenly changes for Živka Popović, a simple, but strong woman in pre-World War II Yugoslavia, when her husband becomes a minister. Being absurdly unaware of her lack of manners, education, and most of all, lack of knowledge of what ministers’ wives are supposed to do, she goes a long way to blindly follow social “rules” for ministers’ wives. In the process she rearranges her life and the life of her family, with comedic, chaotic and unexpected results.

The Serbian Theater Mira Sremčević at the Serbian Cultural and Arts Center St. Sava is proud to present the premiere of Mrs. Minister written by Branislav Nušić on Saturday, March 29, 2008, at 8PM.

Tickets cost $20.
