A story of obsession and unrequited love, Čekaj me, ja sigurno neću doći finds kafana owner, Bane, in the eye of a tumultuous and potentially disastrous love hurricane. His best friend Alek pines over his broken three-year relationship with Teodora, who has her sights set on Nemanja. Nemanja ignores the advances of Teodora and focuses his energies on the younger woman, Marina. Marina, finds herself attracted to Alek, despite his lamenting over Teodora. At the center of this is Bane, to whom everyone confides in, who finds that he, himself, has no one to turn to.
Čekaj me, ja sigurno neću doći is directed by Miroslav Močilović and stars Miloš Samolov as Bane, Mirjana Karanović as Andja, Gordan Kičić as Alek, Milica Mihajlović as Teodora, Branislav Trifunović as Nemanja, and Vanja Ejdus as Marina.
Čekaj me, ja sigurno neću doći will premeire in the St. Sava Screening Room at Serbian Cultural Center St. Sava on Friday, February 12, at 8 PM. A second screening will take place on Sunday, February 14, at 6 PM. Admission is $10. The film will be in Serbian with English subtitles.
Parking at the Center is available for the first twenty automobiles.
