Na raskršću

These are two separate stories about famous people from our recent history. The first story is a confession of Cvetković (from the government Cvetković–Maček), about the events of the 27th of March, 1941 and the beginning of the Second World War in Yugoslavia. He recounts to his grandchildren what really transpired. The text was written after the opening of the archives, and represents the first publication of the truth about how the Second World War started in Yugoslavia.

The second story is a part of the account of the time Đorđe Karađorđević spent in the mental institution in Toponica near Niš. His brother Aleksandar declared him insane, and kept him out of the public eye in Toponica, where he founded a mental institution. The story covers Đorđe’s time in the institution until his brother’s assassination.

Starring Aleksandar Mihailović and Dejan Cicmilović.

Tickets are $20.
